- 1,500+ visas and permits obtained
- Regulated consultants (RCIC)
What is your situation?
One project, seven entry doors — a single method.
Whatever your starting point, identify your situation to be directed to the right pathway.
Why a regulated consultant
Canadian immigration has precise rules. Well guided, you move forward with confidence.
A poorly built file or an incorrect form can lead to an avoidable refusal. Regulated consultants (RCIC) are the only professionals legally authorized to represent you before IRCC, apart from immigration lawyers — a real safety net for your project.
Phoenix-GMI’s RCIC consultants are accredited by the CICC (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants). They prepare your file rigorously and keep you informed at every step, all the way to approval.
The available pathways
Which program matches your profile?
There is no single road to Canada. The best path depends on your age, education, experience, language level and family situation. We identify the one that maximizes your chances.
Express Entry
Federal permanent residence program for skilled workers. Points-based system (CRS) — the higher your score, the better your chances of receiving an invitation.
- Profile: 1+ year of skilled experience, language levels CLB 7+
- CRS score: typically 470–540 points, varying by draw
Quebec Experience Program (PEQ)
For temporary workers employed in Quebec and Quebec graduates. Fast-track access to provincial permanent residence.
- Profile: Worker with a valid permit + 12 months of experience in QC, or graduate of a Quebec institution
- Language: French level B2 minimum
Arrima — Regular Skilled Worker Program (PRTQ)
Quebec program for skilled workers who want to settle in Quebec. File-based selection by the MIFI, then federal approval.
- Profile: University or technical education + experience in an in-demand occupation
- Bonus: Education, family in QC and job offers are valued
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)
Outside Quebec, each province (Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba…) selects candidates based on its labour needs. A major route to permanent residence across Canada.
- Profile: Skills or experience sought by a targeted province
- Advantage: Often paired with Express Entry to speed up processing
Family sponsorship
A Canadian citizen or permanent resident can sponsor their spouse, children or parents. A distinct program with its own criteria.
- Condition: The sponsor must demonstrate sufficient income
Study permit + PR pathway
Studying in Canada is a recognized route to permanent residence. The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) then opens access to Express Entry or the PEQ depending on your level of studies.
- Profile: Young adults, professionals changing careers
Temporary work permit (outside recruitment)
You have a job offer from a Canadian employer outside the Phoenix-GMI network? We still handle your work permit and your CAQ.
- Condition: Job offer with a valid LMIA or exemption

Your questions, answered
What future immigrants ask us
The cost depends on the target program (Express Entry, PEQ, Arrima, family sponsorship, studies) and the complexity of your file. Phoenix-GMI provides a transparent, milestone-based quote after the initial assessment meeting — you know exactly what you pay and when.
Timelines vary by program (Express Entry, PEQ, Arrima, family sponsorship, studies) and by government processing times (IRCC, MIFI), which are outside Phoenix-GMI's control. A consultant gives you an up-to-date estimate for your profile and the applicable program, with a personalized timeline.
Over 30 years of activity, Phoenix-GMI has a 90% success rate on the files we agree to represent. We do not submit files we consider weak — the initial assessment exists precisely to weigh that probability.
Yes. Several programs do not require a job offer: Express Entry (federal skilled workers), Arrima, family sponsorship, study permits. Phoenix-GMI directs you to the path best suited to your situation.
Yes — most programs allow your spouse and dependent children to be included in the file. Depending on the program, your spouse may obtain an open work permit or be included as an accompanying family member. Details are confirmed case by case.
Phoenix-GMI analyzes the reasons for the refusal and proposes the available remedies: a new application under a different program, a request for reconsideration, or an administrative appeal. The exact conditions are detailed in your initial quote.
You can submit a file on your own, but only an accredited RCIC consultant can legally represent you and sign forms on your behalf before IRCC or the MIFI. Phoenix-GMI is accredited by the CICC (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants) — verifiable in its official register.
